Revitalization of the Palace near Warsaw
The presented project is a comprehensive revitalization of the 19th-century palace near Warsaw, which at the time of the takeover was in a state of advanced degradation. The main goal was to restore the historical character of the object respecting its classicist identity, while adapting to modern functional and aesthetic standards.
Existing condition - pre -project analysis
Building, Despite significant damage and damage to the facade, has retained the proportions and structure typical of classicism - a symmetrical facade system, central portico with colonnade, Triosia arcada rhythm and crowning front front. It was decided to preserve the largest possible part of the original building, Strengthening the structure from the inside and reconstructing details using modern conservation technologies.
The main design assumptions of the revitalization
The goal was to restore its representative character to the palace, while maintaining the architectural discipline of the proper era. The composition of the facade was organized, Original window divisions were restored and a woodwork was introduced on historic cross -sections. The arcades on the first floor have been glazed in a gentle way - using aluminum systems with minimal profiles, so as not to disturb the facade.
Plasters were made in the technique of rolling with subdued colors - gray with a slight cool tone, harmonizing with the environment and greenery. The roof is covered with a titan-cynk sheet in graphite color, referring to the original materials.
Land development and landscape details
The space around the palace was designed as an elegant English -style garden with a centrally located fountain and a winding driveway. Introduction of regular greenery, formed hedges and carefully selected plants allowed to create a coherent composition, in which architecture and landscape complement each other. The final element is a cobbled driveway and subtle, discrete lighting accenting the symmetry of the building after dark.
End result
Revitalization restored its original status to the palace - a representative building, elegant and aware of its history. The project is an example of a harmonious combination of conservation responsibility with a modern approach to luxury - expressed not by exaggeration, but by moderation, precision and respect for detail.
